James A. Beckwith, O.D.
Dr. Beckwith received his bachelors degree in biology from the University of San Diego in 1984 and his Doctory of Optometry (OD) degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1988. He received hands-on training in externship programs at the Los Angeles Veterans Administration Hospital, the Santa Monica Center for the Partially Sighted, Norton Air Force Base, and Nellis Air Force Base. He opened his private practice in Las Vegas in 1990. He is board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease. He is a member of The American Optometric Association, and the past President of the Nevada Optometric Association. |

Mark Lee, O.D.
Dr. Lee grew up on a cattle ranch in south eastern Washington. He received his B.S. in agricultural economics from Washington State University in 1996, and his Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from Pacific University in 2000. He received hands on clinical training at Golden Vision Center, Nellis Air Force base, and Pacific University extern clinics. Dr. Lee has practiced in Las Vegas since 2000, and he opened his private practice in 2004. He is Board Certified in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease. Dr. Lee is actively involved in the American Optometric Association (AOA), he currently is chair of the NV third party committee and a member of the AOA eye care benefits committee.
As an avid rock climber, Dr. Lee spends his days off scaling the cliffs at nearby Red Rocks and Mt. Charleston. He also enjoys his days outside with his wife Sasha and his two dogs Zoey and Kayle. |

Alissa D. Nagel, O.D.
Dr. Nagel is a native of Las Vegas and attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she received her bachelor's degree in biology. She then moved to California to attend Southern California College of Optometry. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2007 and then returned to Las Vegas, where she completed her ocular disease residency at the VA Southern Nevada in Las Vegas. She practices primary care optometry, treatment and management of ocular diseases, low vision optometry and provides ocular prosthetic services.
Dr. Nagel is a member of Women of Vision, American Academy of Optometry, American Optometric Society, and Foundation Fighting Blindness. |
